Mar. 14
Finally, I got better from the long cold.
I opened fine Burgundy white and red because it was some Memorial Day today.
1st Rene Bouvier Marsanny Le Clos 2014
It is made by an excellent winery in Gevray Chambertin from 100% Chardonnay grown in their estate vineyard in Marsanny.
I remember that Bouvier started wine making in Marsanny at first.
The vineyard is “Monopole” and very popular for Bourgogne lovers.
I felt very rich fruits, elegant oak cask nuance and very fine minerals.
I felt the taste of expensive wine.
Delicious!!!
2nd Harland Geoffroy Gevray Chambertin 2013
The red is also produced by an excellent winery in Gevray Chambertin.
I felt an explosive red fruits aroma, high level acidity and outstandingly elegant red berries.
Sooooooo delicious!!!
I think expensive Burgundy has an expensive taste.
