Sep. 24
I organized a Japanese winemaker’s party once in a month.
The guest today was Mr. Yoshio Amemiya, who is the onwer & wioemaker of Diamond Winery, a family small winery in Yamanashi.
He is the third genaration of the family, studied wine making and grape growing in Bordeaux and Burgundy.
Now, his wine is very popular and difficult to find.
The event is held at Fermintxo in Nishi-Azabu, a fine Spanish restaurant.
Yoshio had requested us to hold the event at Spanish restaurant with not many attendants.
Then we chose a small restaurant and invited only 18 attendants.
When Yoshio started talking about his wine, nobody can stop his talking.
The machine gun talk has started.
I could not control anything.
The machine gun talk !
The machine gun talk !
However, every attendat looked to be interested in his talk very much.
The party was going heat up.
All of his wines were very unique and delicious.
They were really outstanding.
Yoshio, I am sure again you are truly genius!
The all dishes, pintxo, were also very nice, so delicious.
Some of people say Japanese wine is good for only Japanese cuisine.
It is not true.
Yoshio’s wine are very good for the pintxo today.
The party continued over the previous arrangement.
Evrybody enjoyed the party tonight very much!
What?
You want to take the last train to Yamanashi, don’t you?
You want to take care the vineyard tomorrow mornig, don’t you?
Oh! My!
We took a taxi and managed to catch the last train.
Good Job!
Thank you very much!
