It is a very cool and fresh Sauvignon Blanc.
I felt soft green pepper for South Africa Sauvignon.
I also felt fine citrus and minerals.
It’s very good for a summer drink.
It’s very good for Chirashi Sushi, too.
2nd Okuizumo Winery Red 2000 yen
I chose this one because I want to taste high acidity.
It has very strong acidity, which is a typical character of crimson glory grapes.
It also has very elegant fines, which is an unusual character of crimson glory grapes.
If I tasted this by blind, I would say, “It’s Barbera in North Italy.”
I am sure it is a very fine Japanese red wine.
It’s very good for Chirashi Sushi, too.
