I had a one day business trip to Fukushima.
I had a meeting about Beaujolais Nouveau.
Well, we have already been into such season.
1st Chateau Mercian Kita-no-Fines
I was given this from a friend live in Fukushima.
It’s made from Riesling grown in Akita and Chardonnay grown in Fukushima.
I felt fine fruits a lot.
It was sold only in the north area of Japan.
Tasty!
2nd Marmandais Murets de Gouts 2014 980 yen
It is my favorite red wine in these days.
It’s made from Merlot and Cabernet grown in Cotes du Marmandais, where is a next area of the east end Bordeaux.
I think the style is very similar to authentic Bordeaux red.
I felt some handmade taste.
It has very good balance of fruits, acidity and tannin.
I like this very much!
