I was invited to “ Madeira 100 Tasting Party” organized by Kinoshita International at Roppongi Hills.
There were a lot of wine professionals.
Mr. Ambassader of Portugal joined the event, too.
I supposed all of the guests had saw such many Madeira bottles at once at the first time.
It was the first time for me.
I don’t often taste Madeira so much.
I started tasting them from young matures.
Well, every glass was so tasty.
All of them has their own unique characters.
At last, I tried to taste very old vintages.
The oldest one was vintage 1850!!
It was made 166 years ago!!!
The oldest one was still alive.
I felt very strong aroma, deep sweet, impressive acidity and ultra-long after taste.
The after taste had never disappeared.
Finally, I felt as if I became Madeira.
