The alumni party of joined Mercian in 1983

No Wine Day

Mar. 14

I participated in the alumni party of joined Mercian in 1983

The venue is the izakaya “Jaja-uma” in Nishi-Ogikubo.

It is a restaurant run by Mori-kun, an old colleague who was the ace of Mercian sales.

11 old colleagues gathered.

It’s strange, I can’t remember the names of the people I’ve met recently, but I remember the names of all these colleagues clearly. Some of them are colleagues I haven’t seen in 30 years.

I didn’t feel out of place at all, and I traveled back in time to my age 20s.

There is no shortage of topics at all.

The dishes at Mori-kun’s restaurant were very delicious.

The horse sashimi and horse meat stew on the signature menu were the best.

I brought in Chase the Grape Albarino and Identity.

Mori-kun provided us with valuable stock.

Wolf Brass Shiraz 2005

At the old days, Australian Shiraz was valuable by maturing.

It is dense, fine, and elegant.

Robert Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon 2004

It’s the perfect Cabernet Sauvignon.

It was a wine that could be said to be a miracle of 22 years of aging. It’s perfect.

Both bottles were imported by Mercian.

I never thought I would come across such a great wine at a reunion.

Okamoto-kun was the last active Mercian employee in joined Mercian same time, but he finally retired last week.

With this, the employees of the same age completely disappeared.

Isobe-kun serves as the party manager every time.

Thanks to Isobe-kun, we were able to have a wonderful time.

Let’s get together again.

Until then, everyone, be fine!
