Mar. 7 No Wine Day

Mar. 9 No Wine Day

The day of the annual health checkup has arrived.
In the falling snow, I arrived at the Shinyuri Health Management Center.

As same as last year, I stopped taking the barium test, which I hated, and had a gastric endoscopy.
Other than the pain when the tube passes through the throat, it is much better than the barium test.

Fortunately, the doctor told me that there were no problems with the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum at all.
It is also nice to know the results of endoscopic examinations on the spot.
Then, I had a dinner with a friend from my school days for the first time in 11 years.
We went to Tavern on S in Shinjuku.

It was the first time in 4 days that I drank wine.

The wines I brought in were Jin and Albarino from Chase the Grape.
After all, wine is delicious.

My friend collapsed from a cerebral infarction in December of the year before last, but he was able to go about his normal daily life with amazing resilience.
It seems that he has been rehabilitating bloody.

While still worried about whether I could drink that much, we got too excited and the third red wine was Monastrell from Spain.

I thought it would be darker, but I was surprised by its elegant style.
The wine list of this restaurant is not missing.
I like my friends from my school days. Even if I talk, I can’t talk about it.

It was fun. See you again.
Also, let’s take care of each other’s health.
So, while telling me to be careful not to drink too much, I ended up with grappa。。。。。
