The other day, I drank this craft wine from the Bordeaux Saint-Macaire region with sukiyaki.

I wanted to drink a fine-solid wine for yakiniku, so I naturally reached for it.

This 2019 is a vintage from the winery that arrived in Japan last fall.

“I want people to drink my wine after it has been aged thoroughly,” is the commitment of François, who is the owner of the winery.

Nowadays, it is really rare to see Bordeaux aged in the cellar for 6 years before shipping.
