A great cold wave continues.

When I woke up at 6 o’clock this morning, the temperature was minus 5°C.

The water faucet in the garden was frozen and I didn’t startle.

Today is Saturday. I was planning to take a day off, but I was worried about the unfinished works, so I ended up working all day in between the nursing care.

Today’s dish

Raw oysters

Salad with prosciutto, egg, strawberries, kiwi, apple, broccoli, cherry tomatoes and olives

Grilled red snapper, sauteed shrimp, and potato gratin

It was a good job for making it quickly in between nursing care and work.

Today’s Wine

Oriol Rossell Cuvee Especial NV 1,650 yen

It’s been a long time since I’ve been drinking a sparkling wine at home.

It’s easy for me to drink one bottle of wine by myself, but I’m not good at drinking one bottle of sparkling wine.

I have been unable to burp since I was an infant, and I do burp several times a year.

Therefore, if I continue to drink foam, my stomach will gradually become bloated.

I stopped with half a bottle today and had the wine I had left behind.

The keeping bubbles of Oriol Rossell is outstanding.

Even if you leave the bottle open, if you put it in the refrigerator, it will foam until the next day or two.

If you close the foam refill, it will be fine for about a week.

I often get told by restaurants, “It’s helpful to make Oriol Rossell into a glass of wine because it has good bubbles.”

I am grateful.
