I watched the Hakone Ekiden on TV from the morning today.
In the end, this year was also a solo trip at Aoyama Gakuin, and a new round-trip overall record.

Tonight, I cooked a Mizutaki-nabe hot pot.

I simmered the chicken broth for Ozoni for another 3 days.

The hot pot served with rich chicken broth is delicious.

The Miura cabbage was especially delicious.

Suitable for the New Year, I opened a Japan Wine, too.
Albarino grown in Sagae City, Yamagata is produced at Cave d’Occi in Niigata.
I felt the thick fruits flavor unique to Albarino, beautiful acidity and a firm minerality.
The voluminous yet sharp mouthfeel went well with the rich chicken broth.
I thought that wine is also good for the hot pot.
