Sep. 28
I went out to the city for some business.
On the way home after finishing my errands, today’s dinner was Kitakata-Ramen at the Bannai Shokudo.
Yesterday, when I was watching a special feature on Aizu on a TV Tokyo travel program, I couldn’t help but want to eat the Kitakata-Ramen at Bannai Shokudo, which the guests were eating.
I’ve always liked Kitakata-Ramen and used to go to Bannai Shokudo often, but recently I haven’t been able to do it.
Maybe, it’s the first Bannai Shokudo in about 10 years.
First of all, I drank a usual draft beer.
Then I tasted Aizu Kitakata’s local sake, Yamatogawa.
This bottle, designed by the little monk, is an original sake that can only be drunk at Bannai Shokudo.
It’s completely dry and delicious.
The only place where I drink sake with Ramen and dumplings is here at Bannai Shokudo.
I had thick noodles with a refreshing pork bone soup.
The noodles are generously topped with a lot of unconventional char-siu.
I was impressed by the unchanging deliciousness.
Today, September 29th, let’s call it the anniversary of the revival of Bannai Shokudo.
Well, after I got home, I drank the wine that was left in the refrigerator.
