Jul. 27
Late July, summer, is in full swing.
Come to think of it, I don’t hear cicadas chirping this year.
I’ve heard that cicadas can’t emerge if it’s too hot.
It’s too hot, isn’t it?
Today’s dish
Edamame

Goya and Tuna Salad

Bonito, Madai, Salmon Sashimi

Grilled Vegetable Salad

Yakitori

The sashimi is left-over from yesterday. I stored it in the refrigerator separately from the beginning.
Today’s table is also lively like this.
Today’s Wine

Chase the Grape Identity 2024 4,200 yen
The 6th vintage of Chase the Grape has the “Jin” of Koshu-based drinking yesterday and the “Identity” of this Chardonnay-based style.
81% Chardonnay, 12% Siegerrebe, 5% Aligote, and 2% Müller Tourgar are fermented with wild yeast without sulfite added, and bottled without filtration and clarification.
The grapes came from Yamanashi.
They are fermented at Kitani Wine in Nara Prefecture.
I felt thick fruits flavor, wide acidity and mild minerality.
Siegerrebe has a presence even at 12%.
The sweet aroma and flavor are likely to be derived from Siegerrebe.
It’s a nice and fluffy wine.
