No Wine Day
May. 6
The last day of GW.
In the heavy rain, I paid a visit to Jindaiji Temple in Chofu.
The statue of the Secret Buddha and the Ganzan-Daishi of Jindaiji Temple is being specially opened to commemorate the completion of the “Great Repair of Reiwa” for the first time since the Edo period.
It was a great opportunity, so I decided to go there.
Thanks to the rain, we were able to worship the face without waiting.
Until yesterday, there was 40-50 minutes wait for the visit during GW, so I was lucky.
There were other good things that seemed to be a benefit after the visit.
I have always believed that the power of the Ganzan-Daishi is amazing.
I highly recommend it.
For lunch, I had soba noodles at the gate.
On the way back, I stocked up on ingredients and had Mediterranean-style sushi for dinner.
I bought sweet basil to mix with vinegared rice at the supermarket, but I can’t find it because I seem to have left it in my shopping cart.
I had no choice but to mix in the baby leaves that were in the refrigerator as a substitute.
The refreshing leaf flavor spreads, and the vinegared rice has a softer flavor than basil.
Mediterranean-style sushi, you can cook quickly in a short time, and it is very delicious.
It’s really helpful when I don’t have time.
Wine of the Day
King Rabbit Orange 2023 1,800 yen
It was a wine that was on the shelf of a bakery shop near my house.
My eyes were caught by the cute rabbit and I bought it.
There was no information on the label, and when I looked it up online, it was a wine from Languedoc.
The producer is LGI, the producer of the Relax Wine Tortues en Crique.
It is an orange wine made from a blend of 60% Viognier, 20% Grenache Blanc and 20% Muscat.
And this is very delicious.
I felt rich fruits flavor, clean acidity, pleasant astringency and minerality.
I like the pure taste without any disturbing tastes at all.
It’s a model wine of what orange wine should be.
This is really delicious.
It was an excellent match for the Mediterranean-style sushi.
Is this also a benefit of the Ganzan-Daishi?
