Wine of the Day
Araldica Piemonte Barbera 2022 1,250 yen
This Piemonte red wine that has become my house wine.
I got some good meat for steak today, so I was quite confused about what to open with wine.
I thought about making it a slightly better wine, but I ended up with this Barbera.
It was the right answer.
I felt rich fruitiness, firm acidity and mellow tannins.
Anyway, the good balance stands out.
It was perfect for a lean rump steak with no fat.
