I have a bar-hopping in Shinjuku.

No Wine Day

Jan. 28

Today, I had a private drinking party with a colleague from my Mercian days.

The first place was a deep izakaya in Shinjuku, we drank draft beer and hoppy.

The food at this restaurant is delicious no matter what you order.

Here, my favorite.

The second place was a long-established bar on Shinjuku 3-chome.

It is a favorite bar of a former colleague.

I tasted Islay malt on the rocks.

I forgot to take a photo.

After parting ways with my former colleagues, I finally went to Berg, a famous bar at the east exit of Shinjuku Station, where I had Marquis de Beau Rond Chardonnay and Chateau Fongrave Rouge.

It’s been a really long time since I’ve been to Berg.

They have been dealing with Relax Wine for more than 20 years.

I’m really grateful for that.

Persons in my line, three people, all of them drank Marquis de Beau Rond.

I am delighted. I wanted to talk to him, but I held back.

Tonight, for the first time in a long time, I had a bar-hopping.

Oh, drank, drank.
