Yakiniku Dinner Tonight

Sep. 23

No Wine Day

Sep. 24

I went to visit the grave of my parents at the temple in Itabashi.

Then I went to Wine Shop Todaya in Nishidai to buy some wine.

The wines recommended by Todaya have never gone wrong.

I think this is amazing.

It suddenly got cooler, so I decided to have a Yakiniku dinner tonight.

When it’s hot, you can’t open the windows, so it’s tough to grill meat at home.

I grilled meat for the first time in a long time, I left the all windows open!

1st Domaine Pech Pouille Blanc 2021 1,250 yen

It is the second wine of Domaine Pujol, a famous winery in Languedoc-Minervois.

It is made from 90% Sauvignon Blanc and 10% Chardonnay grown by Lutte Raisonné.

I felt thick fruits flavor, clean acidity and invigorating minerality.

The fresh and pure taste is impressive.

Todaya-san has been selling this one well.

“This has a very good reputation,” Todaya-san said.

2nd Domaine Pech Pouille Rouge 2020 1,250 yen

The red is a blend of 35% Carignan, 30% Grenache, 20% Cinsault and 15% Syrah.

Even though it is called Lutte Raisonné, the grapes are grown using a unique farming method that is more strictly controlled than general organic wine.

It has a mellow fruits flavor and soft tannins, which is the character of Minervois

It’s delicious.

This was perfect for Yakiniku today.
