In the morning, I went to the supermarket to do two days’ foods of shopping.

As usual, they didn’t sell rice.

1st Ribolla Gialla Luce d’Oro NV Sample Tasting

Today I did a sample tasting of sparkling wine that arrived from Italy.

It is made from 100% Ribolla Gialla from northern Italy using the Charmat method.

I felt soft foam, firm citrus acid and thick fruits flavor in the after.

I felt pure drinking comfort with no disturbing taste.

Somewhat, this is delicious.

Maybe it’s the first time I’ve tried Ribolla Gialla’s sparkling wine?

This is interesting, isn’t it?

 

 

2nd Cescon Cabernet NV 1,200 yen

Today’s dish is Italian, so I chose Italian for the second bottle of red wine.

It is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc from Veneto.

I felt berry aroma reminiscent of blackcurrants, rich fruits flavor and clean acidity.

Although it is a Cabernet, it is a smooth and light drink.

I drank it cold.

It went well with the beef tagliata.
