Tokyo Marathon 2016 past by Cave de Relax.
So many people!
We held “Cave de Relax Blind Wine Tasting Cup” at the second time.
Eight tasters participated in the cup.
I took a picture with Ms. Takeyama, the winner of the cup.

1st La Croix Gratiot Picpoul de Pinet 2015 1280 yen New arrivals
I found this outstandingly fine Picpoul in my Languedoc tour in last June 2015.
I felt in love of it.
After I came back to Japan, I made contact and order to the winery, which is a small family winery near Sete, where is a famous sea resort in Languedoc.
However, the winery said, “We don’t have any wine now, out of stock.”
I didn’t give up and I tried to keep contact the winery.
Finally, the winery offered me to export some wine to Japan.
Then I managed to receive the new arrivals.
Oh! I got a big success!
I am sure again it is an outstandingly fine Picpoul de Pinet.
It is obviously different from commercial ones.
I felt very rich fruits, nice citrus and deep minerals.
Even it is from south area, it has very cool- beautiful nuance.
The wine maker has changed to Anais, a daughter of the owner, from 2014.
I like both beautiful wine and beautiful lady, of course!

Delicious! Delicious! Delicious!
It is made from 100% Pinot Noir grown in the estate vineyards near Mediterranean.
It is an outstandingly fine Pinot Noir in Languedoc.
Actually, I didn’t taste this in Languedoc last time.
I found this on the wine list of the winery web site.
I thought “It must be a very fine Pinot Noir because the winery makes such a super Picpour.”
Of! I’m true!
I got a big success.
It is absolutely outstanding!
I really enjoyed amazingly dense fruits, charming red berries and comfortable long after taste.
The cost performance is super-ultra-very high.
I want to compare this with very fine Burgundy rouges.
I want to recommend this to all Pinot Noir lovers.
