The dinner today was Sukiyaki.

 

 

I made it red meat from Kagoshima.

 

 

Red meat without fat is my preference these days.

 

 

 

1st Domaine Pech Pouille Blanc 2021 1,280 yen

It is a sustainable wine from Languedoc, Minervois.

It is a blend of 90% Sauvignon Blanc and 10% Chardonnay, but it does not have any so-called varietal characteristics.

I felt thick fruits flavor with soft acidity and firm minerality.

It has a beautiful taste full of purity and transparency.

The flesh is firm, so it was perfect for Sukiyaki.

 

 

2nd Domaine Pech Pouille Rouge 2020 1,280 yen

The red wine is also a sustainable wine from Minervois.

It is a blend of Carignan, Grenache, Merlot and Cinsault.

It has a full-bodied and robust taste, but it is smooth to the end, and thanks to its seamless fruits and tannins, it is mellow and elegant in the mouth.

This is reminiscent of a good wine, a fine wine.

It was perfect for Sukiyaki.
