1st Hamada Vineyard Bacchus 2020

For sushi, I thought it wanted to taste a good quality Japan wine, so I chose Hamada Vineyard Bacchus.

It is a white wine made from 100% Bacchus organically grown in the estate vineyard in Mikasa, Hokkaido.

It has a gorgeous raw grape aroma, a thick fruity taste, and a gentle but firm acid and mineral feeling.

The faint bubbles tighten the overall taste.

It is a fluffy, very pleasant and gentle wine.

It was perfect for Temaki-Sushi.

2nd Misono Vineyard Pinot Noir 2022  Sample Tasting

The red wine is a newly released 2022 Pinot Noir from Misono Vineyard in Yoichi, Hokkaido.

From the fourth-year-old harvest of the Pinot Noir vines planted in the estate vineyard, they produced it in the cellars of our new winery.

Compared to the 2021 vintage, the color is lighter, and the fruit taste is like a ripe strawberry when you put it in your mouth.

It is by no means dense, but you can feel the body with a delicate yet strong presence.

At first, it was a light touch, but as time passed in the glass, the feeling of volume increased. It has a slight-typical Yoichi’s Pinot Noir character, “Takahiko” flavor.

This is a wine that you want to age a little more and then drink slowly.

The production number is small, and all of this release has been allocated, and unfortunately there is no general sale.

The next 2023 vintage seems to increase production, so wait another year.
