1st Lieubeau Sauvignon Blanc 2014 1280 yen
It is made by an old family winery in Muscadet Loire from 100% Sauvignon Blanc.
At first, I felt very solid minerals.
After while, very a lot of rich fruits and clean citrus appeared.
It is one of my best recommend white wines recently.
Tasty!
2nd Rubaiyat Merlot 2007
The fine Merlot is a gift from the winery.
It is made from 100% Merlot grown in Shiojiri Nagano.
It is a very big style of Japan Merlot.
At first, I felt very fresh red fruits even though it was over 8 years matured.
I also felt very dense berries, silky tannin and very long after taste.
The balance between of acidity, fruits and tannin was very fine.
It is a very elegant and complex Japan Merlot.
I felt something similar touch to Domaine Oyamada Senba, which is also made in Shiojiri, I tasted last night.
I tasted an outstanding Japan Wine on two straight days.
