Ordinary Dishes

Feb. 25

It was a very cold day.

It was the second day of the return from Covid-19.

Today, I’m going to make ordinary dishes, just normal ones.

Madai Carpaccio

Strawberry, Prosciutto, Avocado and Broccoli Salad

Tarraco Spaghetti

Yakitori

It was wonderful to be able to cook ordinary food normally.

I’m impressed!

1st Estezargues Organic Cote du Rhone Blanc 2022 1,580 yen

According to today’s mood, I chose a natural wine with no sulfite added and wild yeast fermentation.

I was impressed in the very concentrated-charming fruits.

Although the alcohol content is high, it has a soft mouthfeel and minerality reminiscent of saline.

I was impressed in this very pure and gentle taste.

It is made from organically grown 70% Grenache Blanc, 10% Clairette, 10% Bourboulenc and 10% Viognier.

It is unfiltered, unclarified and bottled.

2nd Estezargues Organic Cote du Rhone Rouge 2022 1,580 yen

This red is also BIO.

The all grapes are grown by organic cultivation.

It is made by no sulfur additives and wild yeast fermentation.

The grape variety is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault.

I felt sweet condensed fruit flavor, clean acidity, and mellow astringency.

The natural wines of the Estezargues are now in their 24th year of importation.

Time flies.
