I was very busy today, too.

 

Today’s dish was easy to make and very tasty “Unagi Takikomi Gohan”, an eel-cooked rice.

 

 

The eel sauce was filled with red wine.

 

 

 

Appetizer was Hirame Sashimi from Aomori.

 

 

Very delicious, too!

 

 

 

1st Turckheim Pinot Blanc 2020 1,780 yen

I felt a thick fruits flavor, a gentle yet strong acidity, and a strong minerality.

All of Turckheim’s wines are pure and full of natural fruits flavors.

Mr. Natsume, the owner of Kamakura Winery, also said that he is a fan of Turckheim.

It is a good wine.

 

 

2nd Tortues en Crique Syrah Mourvedre 2020 1,180 yen

It is made from the leading grape varieties of the South France, Syrah and Mourvèdre.

I felt pleasant spicy aroma and mellow fruit taste reminiscent of black cherry.

Yet it has a smooth and comfortable mouthfeel.

This red is also delicious.

I also used this wine for the sauce of Unagi Takikomi Gohan.
