Look forward to Kamakura Winery’s future developments

Jan. 21

Today’s dish.

Suzuki Carpaccio

Salad with Crispy Bacon

Fried Maitake, Eeringi and Chicken

It’s rare to find fried food in my cooking.

For some reason, I wanted to eat them asexually.

1st Kamakura Winery Yamagata Chardonnay 2022 3,980 yen

I bought it at the winery last Friday.

As same as yesterday’s Delaware, it is a Chardonnay from Yamagata.

It is made from 100% Chardonnay harvested in Takahata and produced them at Kamakura Winery.

The color is slightly brownish, but there are no oxidative nuances in the taste.

I felt firm fruits flavor with a hint of astringency.

I was impressed in the pure taste without any miscellaneous taste.

This Chardonnay is also unique and very tasty.

It went well with the Suzuki carpaccio.

2nd Kamakura Winery Azumino Merlot 2022 4,280 yen

I also bought this at the winery.

It is made from 100% Merlot from Nagano Azumino and produced them at Kamakura Winery, too.

At first, I felt a character of Nagano’s Merlot, which is the nuances of green aromatic herbs.

I also felt beautiful fruits flavor with mild acid and pleasant astringency.

What Kamakura Winery’s wines have in common is a pure, pleasant, natural fruits flavor without any miscellaneous tastes.

I’m sure they make wine carefully and carefully, without putting any extra load on the grapes.

Well, I’m looking forward to Kamakura Winery’s future developments.
