Things didn’t go as planned today, and I was just frustrated.

It’s hard to keep a sense of normalcy.

 

 

Today, I had a Mizutaki-Nabe.

I received a Mizutaki-Nabe cooking set from a friend in Fukuoka.

 

 

In Hakata, they put cabbage in it.

I see, it’s delicious!

 

 

The appetizer was Oysters and Salmon Sashimi.

 

 

 

 

1st Pangolin Sauvignon Blanc 2022 1,050 yen

For a thick pot, I paired it with this crisp South African Sauvignon Blanc.

I felt fresh citrus fruits, firm acidity and minerality.

The thickness of the pulp, which is unique to South Africa, also went well with the soup cooking pot.

 

 

2nd Estezargues Organic Cotes du Rhone Red 2022 1,580 yen

The red is a Bio wine from the southern Rhone.

The concentrated red fruit acid made the rich chicken soup feel smooth.

Estezargues has a very deep acceptability.
