NAGANO WINE in Love in the World

10/12

No Wine Day

10/13

I was invited to the wine event “NAGANO WINE in Love in the World” hosted by the Nagano Wine Association and SMBC.

The venue was the top floor hall of the East Building of the SMBC Head Office.

I saw a wonderful view overlooking Mt. Fuji and the Imperial Palace dyed by the setting sun.

Five wineries in Nagano Prefecture participated and introduced their respective wines.

Sun Sun Winery (Shiojiri)

Inishie-no -Sato Vineyard (Shiojiri)

Cantina Rieso (Takayama Village)

111 Vineyard (Shiojiri)

St.-Cousair (Iizuna)

New small wineries were participating.

Each winery brings one bottle of red wine and one white wine for tasting.

There are many Merlot and Chardonnay.

Each wine was unique and full of personality.

Personally, I was impressed by Riesling from the Inishie-no -Sato Vineyards, Chardonnay from acacia barrels from Cantina Rieso, and Chardonnay fermented by wild yeast from 111 Vineyards.

The dishes used ingredients from Nagano Prefecture to match the wine were also delicious.

I took commemorative photo with Mr. Inagaki of the Inishie-no -Sato, Mr. Yumoto of Cantina Rieso, and Mr. Kawashima of 111 Vineyard.

Everyone is a winery owner and winemaker.

I am looking forward to seeing what the three of them will do in the future.

Commemorative photo with President Kuze of St.-Cousair.

I have a lot to do with Mr. Kuze.

Thank you for your continued support.

Thank you very much for inviting us to this wonderful event today.
