The pork goes great with fruit, and the sautéed pears are delicious.
1st La Croix Gratiot Picpoul de Pinet 2021 1,700 yen
It is an organic wine from Languedoc, Southern France.
I felt plump citrus fruit taste, beautiful acid and outstanding minerality.
This one has all the flavors I would like to see in the white wine.
The sense of balance is also wonderful.
Of all the relaxing wines, this one might be my most favorite white wine.
It went very well with today’s bonito.
2nd Nostrada Tempranillo 2021 1,000 yen
It is a red wine from Tarragona, Spain.
I didn’t have red wine for cooking to prepare the blueberry sauce, so I opened it.
For the second bottle, I was actually thinking of openning some delicious Pinot Noir, but somehow I got tired of it and decided to drink this red wine.
I felt very well-balanced fruit taste, acid and tannin.
I also felt smooth mouthfeel with no unpleasant taste.
Well, this is delicious enough.
After all, the same wine went well with blueberry sauce.
