No Wine Day

Sep. 1

September has come.

It’s early, and there are only four months left in this year.

But this heat. It’s not at all.

Cooking of the day.

Bonito Tataki Asian Style

Okura, Petite Tomato and Crunchy Bacon Salad

Mini steak of Black Wagyu Beef with Blueberry sauce

When I put bonito tataki on top of homemade noodle soup, vinegar, sesame oil, and coriander on top, The taste was like Southeast Asia.

Bonito dashi noodle soup is a substitute for Nam Pla.

It was delicious.

1st Ancola Pinot Grigio Rose 2022 1,000 yen

It is a rose wine from Lombardy, Italy.

It is made from 90% Pinot Grigio and 10% Pinot Noir.

I felt charming red fruit flavor and firm acid.

The style is very pure and clear.

This rose is very delicious.

2nd Joostenberg Myburgh Bros. Little J 2021 1,850 yen  New Arrivals

A new product of Joostenberg, an organic wine from the Paarl in South Africa, has arrived.

It is made from 41% Syrah, 39% Cinsault, 15% Merlot, and 5% Grenache organically grown in the estate vineyards and fermented by wild yeast.

75% of the grapes are fermented in whole brunch without destemming.

I felt the gentle fruit flavor and pleasant mouthfeel unique to real organic wine.

It’s an elegant red wine that feels like South Africa today.

It was perfect for today’s Wagyu steak.
