It is a problem at the peak of homecoming and vacationing.
Today, I made Unagi(Eeels) Steamed Rice.
The eels are bought at the supermarket, but the original sauce is washed off, re-steamed with red wine and homemade sauce, and cooked.
It’s surprisingly delicious.
1st Furano Wine Kerner Ashiri Furanui 2021
It is made from 100% Kerner harvested in Furano Hokkaido and fermented by wild yeast.
I felt plump fruit flavor, refreshing acid unique to Hokkaido and outstanding minerality.
A gentle and flavorful mouthfeel are unique to wild yeast.
It is a very pure and natural white wine.
Delicious!
2nd Furano Wine Zweigeltrebe Ashiri Furanui 2021
The red is Zweigeltrebe.
Also, the grapes are grown in Furano and fermented by wild yeast
I felt sweet mellow aroma, rich fruit taste and soft-mellow mouthfeel.
There are no metallic nuances that are common in Zweigelt.
This is also a very good wine.
It was perfect for eel rice.
