The temperature in my area was -3°C in the morning.

 

Also, you have recording snowfalls in North Japan.

 

 

I cooked dinner, Kimuchi-Nabe.

How many times I have a Kimuchi-Nabe in this season.

 

 

 

1st Kizan Wine White 2020

When I have a Kimuchi-Nabe, I often choose an organic white wine which has big fruits and moderate acidity.

However, I chose Koshu wine made by Kizan.

This one is a light-elegant white wine but also has a big allowance for foods matching.

I felt elegant fruits, pure acidity and very nice minerals.

It was very good for Kimuchi-Nabe.

 

 

2nd Kizan Wine Red 2020

Kizan Red used to have a very strong acidity because of the character of Black Queen, which is a hybrid grape variety in Japan.

You couldn’t find a red wine made from 100% Black Queen except very few ones before.

However, I can’t say “strong acidity” for this new vintage.

I felt pure red berries, fine acidity and elegant tannin.

It was a really nice red wine.

I am sure again that Kizan Wine is very special.

It was very good for Kimuchi-Nabe, too.
