No Wine Day
Nov. 7
I cooked dinner, Temaki-Sushi.
Very good!
1st Sigei Jozo Suzu Blanc 2021 1958 yen
It is the first vintage of Mr. a new winemaker in Yamanashi.
It is made from Koshu and Delaware grown in Yamanashi and fermented with no sulfur.
I felt natural fruits, tender acidity and delicate mouthfeel.
It showed well the character of Japan grapes.
The taste was fine even though only 10% alcohol degree.
2nd Kobe Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 3200 yen
I wanted to try tasting this new arrivals clairet wine with Temaki-Sushi.
Oh! That’s perfect!
Good Cabernet aroma and elegant fruits made a very good harmony with sushi.
Especially, red meet fishes, Maguro, Inada and Kanpachi, were very good.
The style is similar to Obuse Pinot Noir clairet.
Both clairet kept their grape character but the taste was similar.
It is very interesting.
