The vintage has changed to 2021.
Languedoc in 2021 vintage has a big damage because of a terrible cold weather in April.
The harvest amount is only 30% compared with average.
I was concerned about the quality before the new arrivals.
However, the quality of 2021 is very good.
I think it is better than average.
I felt fresh fruits, nice citrus and very good minerals.
Especially, a long-comfortable after taste is outstanding.
I am very happy.
2nd Obuse Winery Sogga Pere et Fils Pinot Noir Clairet 2020
It is made from 100% Pinot Noir grown in Domaine Akio Vineyard located at 900m altitude in Takayama Nagano.
It is not a red wine but a clairet.
I felt charming red fruits, nice acidity and light tannin.
It is very delicate and elegant.
This one made me with peaceful mind.
I like this clairet very much.
If someone says “It is too light”, I don’t want to become friend with the person.
