I cooked “Unagi-Takikomi-Gohan” for the dinner tonight, as well.
I got hooked on it!
1st Kizan Wine White 2021 1925 yen
It is made from 100% Koshu grown in Enzan Yamanashi.
The label has changed from this new vintage.
I like the new one.
It is the typical style of very fine Koshu wine.
I like the pure fruits, elegant citrus and sharp minerals.
The taste is truly nice.
I am sure again it is one of the top Koshu wines in Japan.
The price is very reasonable, too.
2nd Kizan Wine Red 2021 1925 yen
It is made from 100% Black Queen grown in Enzan Yamanashi, too.
This one is getting better and better year-by-year.
The taste has become more elegant year after year.
I didn’t feel any wild nuances before this one had.
I like the beautiful fruits, charming red acidity, silky tannin and comfortable mouthfeel.
I think this style is similar to some very fine north Italy Barbera.
It is a very fine Japan red wine.
