I went to Hanami, a cherry blossoms watching, at Aso River near my home in the morning.
The blossoms are in full blooming.
Amazing!
I took a nice sushi lunch in Shin-Yurigaoka.
Then I cooked a part of dinner, a starter plat, as well.
Very good!
1st Oriol Rossell Rose NV 1500 yen
I chose this rose sparkling wine for the starter plate today.
I like taste a rose wine in cherry blossoms season.
It is made from Garnacha and Pinot Noir grown in in the estate vineyards in Penedes Spain by organic method.
I felt elegant red berries, beautiful acidity and comfortable babbles.
Delicious! Delicious! Delicious!
2nd Luigi Voghera Langhe Favorita 2020 2300 yen
I bought this Italy white wine at Wine Shop Todaya in Itabashi.
It is made from 100% Favorita, a local grape in Piemonte.
I felt very clear fruits, good acidity and fine minerals.
The style is amazingly pure and natural.
I didn’t feel any off-flavor, any bad taste.
Gradually, I also felt some delicious fruits nuance like a pair, peach and apple.
It is a very good white wine.
I am sure again Todaya-san sells only very fine wines.
After dinner, I went to a creek closed by home and watched night cherry blossoms.
Beautiful!
