1st Estezargues Organic Cotes du Rhone Blanc 2021 1300 yen Sample Tasting
I received this new vintage sample from the winery by DHL.
The new vintage is 2021, skipped 2020.
It is made from mainly Grenache Blanc with Clairette, Bourboulenc and Viognier grown in South Rhone by organic method.
It is fermented by wild yeast with no sulfur and bottled by non-filtered.
I felt very fresh fruits like a green apple, crisp acidity and fine minerals.
Also, I felt very soft mouthfeel, which BIO wine often has.
You can expect a lot with this new vintage.
I am sure that this one is a very good BIO wine.
2nd Estezargues Organic Cotes du Rhone Rouge 2020 1300 yen
I received this red wine by DHL, too.
The new vintage is 2020.
It is made from Syrah, Grenache and Cinsault grown in South Rhone by organic method.
It is fermented by wild yeast with no sulfur and bottled by non-filtered, too.
I felt many, many red berries, fresh acidity and smooth tannins.
The mouthfeel was very soft and mild.
The taste was something similar Burgundy wine.
It is a really pure, natural and charming red wine.
The new arrivals are expected in June.
I am looking forward to receiving them.
