I had a Yakuniku BBQ dinner tonight.
Very good!
I tried to taste two bottles of sample wines.
I was going to drink them half bottle each.
1st Feudo Antico Terre di Chieti Pecorino 2018 1590 yen Sample Tasting
It is a new arrival wine imported by Hakutsuru Shuzo, which is the major sake brewery in Japan.
I am in charge of a consultant for the wine division of Hakutsuru.
I have already tasted premium class wines last month.
This one is a standard class white wine.
Oh! Tasty!
It is made from 100% Pecorino grown in Tullum in Abbuzzo Italy by organic method.
I felt very rich fruits, elegant acidity and nice minerals.
The style was very pure and natural.
The price is very reasonable.
This one is surprisingly good white wine.
2nd Feudo Antico Montepulciano d’Abbuzzo 2018 Sample Tasting
The red wine is also outstanding.
It is made from 100% Montepulciano grown in Tullum by organic method.
The back label in Japanese says it is a full-bodied style.
But it is a really elegant style of Montepulciano.
It has very dense fruits, charming acidity and comfortable mouthfeel.
The taste was very natural and seamless.
What a nice red wine is this!
Hakutsuru Shuzo got a big success, I think.
