I got a very fresh Aoriika, big fin reef squid, caught in the local gulf and cooked sashimi.
Very nice!
1st Turckheim Sylvaner 2019 1550yen
It is made from 100% Sylvaner grown in Alsace.
Sylvaner is a very popular grape variety in Germany and is often produced as a semi-sweet wine.
However, Sylvaner is normally produced as a dry wine in Alsace.
Turckheim Sylvaner is not only dry but also has dense fruits, fine citrus and nice minerals.
I like this one very much.
It is very good for sashimi today.
I was going to have only one bottle wine as well but I couldn’t.
I tried a caned South Africa Merlot.
Audacia Merlot 2019
It is a sustainable wine made from 100% Merlot grown in Western Cape.
It is produced by no additives.
The winery uses Rooibos instead of Sulfur.
I felt concentrated fruits, acidity and tannins.
It is a full-bodied red wine but the style is very natural.
I felt very elegant and seamless mouthfeel.
When I put ice cubes into the glass.
The taste became fresh and cool.
It is a very nice wine. I like it!
