It was day-off today.
After the morning 3 km running, I weeded my garden for two hours.
I forgot to drink water during the weeding.
I suffered slight heatstroke.
Then I went to some supermarket to buy fishes and cooked dinner, Temaki-Sushi.
That’s so nice!
1st Kizan Wine Selection Chardonnay 2019 2090 yen
It is made from 100% Chardonnay grown in the estate vineyards in Yamanashi.
It is a truly clean style white wine.
At first, you may feel that it is a light body Chardonnay.
However, I could find a lot of complex fine Chardonnay characters.
I felt nice citrus, tropical fruits, melon, honey, vanilla, etc.
The taste was really pure and natural.
It was very good for sushi today.
2nd Chateau Mercian Mariko Vineyard Chardonnay & Sauvignon Blanc 2019 2500 yen
I opened a white wine as the second.
I tasted two bottles of white wine.
Recently, daimajo-sama like a white wine.
She said, “I need not a red wine if I can taste a good white wine.”
I bought this one at the winery last month.
It is sold only in Nagano.
It is made from Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc grown in the estate vineyard in Mariko Nagano.
At first, I felt strong minerals, which Chateau Mercian often has.
Then I felt nice fruits, good acidity with some mints nuance.
I sometimes find the blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc in France, too.
It is very nice for Temaki-Sushi, too.
