Aug. 27
I saw the beautiful evening sun on my walking.
No Wine Day
Aug. 28
I cooked dinner.
Bruschetta Tuna, Scallop, Avocado, Kale and Tomato
Steamed Paella
Very good!
1st Hokkaido Chuo Budoshu Kerner 2019 2800 yen
It is made from 100% Kerner grown in Kimura Vineyard in Yoichi Hokkaido.
It is a dry type white wine but I felt some sweet aroma and flavor at first.
Then sharp acidity climbed on the flavor and some tropical fruits flavor came up.
The style is very pure ad clean.
I also felt nice minerals.
I was sure again that Kimura Vineyard grows only very fine grapes.
2nd Hokkaido Chuo Budoshu Pinot Noir Rose 3200 yen
It is made from 100% Pinot Noir grown in Kimura Vineyard in Yoichi Hokkaido, too.
Mr. Kimura is the pioneer of Pinot Noir cultivation in Yoichi.
He has been the leading person of Pinot Noir in Japan.
It is made from the removed grape juice along the way to produce the red wine.
I felt very fresh aroma, charming red berries, nice acidity and light-comfortable tannin.
It has the all tastes of the premium rose wine.
It was very good for the steam paella today!
