I have got tired because of the summer heat.
I asked daimajo-sama to cook her Specialite, ” Dera-Uma Unagi Gohan”, which means “Super-Delicious Grilled-Eel Rice”.
It was very nice.
Unagi beat my summer fatigue.
1st Obuse Winery Sogga pere et Fils Ordinaire Sauvignon Blanc 2020
It is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grown in Kakuto Vineyards in Nagano.
The wine name is ordinary but this one is very special white wine.
The back label says, “We don’t use some special yeast which makes strong Sauvignon aroma and flavor.”
Well, it has a delicate aroma, very dense fruits, elegant citrus and very fine minerals.
The taste was very pure and natural.
I am sure it is a great Sauvignon Blanc in Japan.
The cork is DIAM-10.
It means this one has a long mature potential.
2nd COCO Farm & winery Kumo no Jikan Akane MV
It is made from 93% Pinot Noir, 2% Zweigelt and 5% other grape varieties grown in Yoichi Hokkaido.
I felt many red berries, strong acidity and herb mints nuance.
I also flet some BIO wine taste produced by MC method.
The style is something similar to Bourgogne Passetoutgrain.
It is an impressive wine.
I want to keep on eye on this wine.
