Jun. 30
It was the second day of the business trip in Kumamoto.
I work in Marubishi Food Trade Show at Grand Messe Kumamoto.
Marubishi is a major food & beverage distributer in Kyushu.
I have been joining in this big event for 20 years.
I have become a legend member of the event.
I took a photo with Mr. Nishida, who is the owner chef of Trockadero, a fine French restaurant in Arao.
We have kept a good relationship for 20 years.
The highlight event was a cooking seminar instructed by Mr. Chikara Yoshitomi, who is the chef of L’Ambroisie, a Michelin three star restaurant in Paris.
He is born in Kumamoto.
L’Ambroisie is closed now because of Covid-19.
Then he came home in Kumamoto and joined in this event.
It was a real dreaming seminar for food professionals.
All of the participants were moved a lot.
He came my wine booth and tasted Relax Wine.
I was so happy that he gave me a very high reputation for Chase the Grape.
After the event today, I went to Kura, a fine Japanese restaurant in Kumamoto.
I had a small wine tasting dinner with my friend in the event.
We tasted mainly Kyushu local wines.
I was impressed in Izumihara Vineyard Chardonnay 2018, which is a garage wine in Kumamoto produced by Mr. Hayama.
He is the member of the dinner party today.
I awoke how wonderful such face to face communication with nice wine and foods was!
It was a really, really, good time.
Thank you very much!
