I took care of the vine of Cabernet Sauvignon in my garden.

 

 

 

 

Only two new branches were left.

1st Kobe Wine Fuwari White 2017

This sparkling wine is not for sale now because of a little stock.

However, I managed to buy this one at the winery last week.

It is made from 100% Chardonnay by the traditional method.

It was released without “Degorgement”, which is a slag pulling.

 

 

 

 

Even though there were many slags in the bottle, the taste was very pure and elegant.

I was impressed in the beautiful gold color, fragrant aroma, elegant fruits, fine acidity and minerals.

The yeasts left in the bottle made the nuance of batter and honey.

It’s great! 

So delicious!

I think this one is one of the top sparkling wine in Japan.

 

 

2nd Kobe Wine Fuwari Red 2103

I managed to buy this red at the winery last week, too.

It is made from mainly Cabernet Sauvignon by the traditional method.

You don’t find a dry-red sparkling wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon, I think.

I tasted this one at the winery last week.

It was the first time I had tasted a dry-red sparkling wine made from Cabernet, too.

 

It was the second time I had tasted this one.

I was sure again that it was super fine red sparkling wine.

I like the tender babbles, dense fruits, mild tannin and comfortable mouthfeel.

A long maturing in the bottle with the yeast made very complex-elegant flavor.

This one is the last vintage.

The winery doesn’t make this one anymore.

Why?

I want to taste the new vintage.

 

I named “Kobe Wine Fuwari” a miracle sparkling wine.
