Yakiniku BBQ
Recently, daimajo-sama likes Yakiniku BBQ very much.
1st Chateau Fongrave Bordeaux Blanc 2018 1250 yen + tax
It is made from 100% Semillon grown in Saint- Macaire Bordeaux by sustainable farming.
Sanit-Macaire produces mainly sweet type white wine.
However, this one is a dry type.
Dry type 100% Semillon is not unusual, is it?
I felt rich fruits, modest acidity and fine minerals.
It was very good for sashimi today.
2nd Chateau Fongrave Bordeaux Rouge 2016 1500 yen + tax
The red is made from 90% Merlot and 10 % Cabernet Franc.
It is a classical type of Bordeaux red wine.
I felt concentrated fruits, good acidity, silky tannin and long after taste.
It is a full-body style of Bordeaux wine.
Also I felt very elegant mouthfeel thanks of the natural farming and wine making.
I was sure again that Fongrave is an excellent Bordeaux wine.
