My Annual Short Trip to Oyama

Dec. 3

I went to Mt. Oyama, which is my annual short trip in this season.

Unfortunately, the weather was not good.

I couldn’t see any view at the top of the mountain because of the dense fog.

The shrine was folded in mist, too.

The fog cleared in the middle of a mountain.

I enjoyed to see a lot of beautiful autumn leaves.

By the way to home, I dropped at York Mart Nishi-Otake Store and bought the foodstuff for dinner today.

I bought Marquis de Beau Rond, too.

After I came back home, I cooked Yakiniku B.B.Q.

Very good job!

1st J. Lohr Flume Crossing Sauvignon Blanc 2018  2500 yen + tax

It was a beautiful Sauvignon Blanc.

I felt rich-clean fruits, very nice citrus and a lot of elegant minerals.

It was an upper class white wine.

I maybe my most favorite California Sauvignon Blanc I have ever tasted.

2nd J. Lohr South Ridge Syrah 2017  2500 yen + tax

It was a beautiful Syrah, too.

I like the elegant fruits, decent acidity, silky tannin and soft mouthfeel.

I didn’t feel any too much heavy or too much spicy nuance.

What a elegant Syrah is this!

It was very good for the Yakiniku B.B.Q today.

Delicious!
