Oh! December has come!
Today’s dinner was Oden, Japanese hotchpotch, cooked by daimajo-sama.
1st Estezargues Organic Cotes du Rhone Blanc 2019 1300 yen + tax
It is difficult to choose the wine which is good for Oden.
Oden’s concentrated seafood flavor often disturbs wine taste, I think.
This one is that.
It has seamless fruits, moderate acidity and slurry mouthfeel.
I also felt mild flavor and good minerals thanks of the organic method.
daimajo-sama was surprised at the nice marriage.
2nd Estezargues Organic Cotes du Rhone Rouge 2019 1300 yen + tax
I chose a bottle of Estezargues red wine, too.
It is made from Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault grown in South Rhone by organic method with no sulfur and wild yeast.
I felt very concentrated red fruits with a very little soy sauce nuance.
It was good for Oden, too.
I found that I was good at the wine choice.
