The second day in Hokkaido

Nov. 16

It was the second day in Hokkaido.

I was amazed at seeing my breakfast at the hotel.

It was a gorgeous seafood rice bowl!

At first, I went to Wineshop Fujii in Susukino.

I saw a lot of good selected fine wines.

I was happy to see many Relax Wine there.

Thank you very much, Fujii-san.

Then I went to Yamazaki Winery in Mikasa.

I had a nice wine meeting with Taichi-san at the new wine shop in the winery.

Kazuyuki-san and Ryoichi-san were working at the cellar.

They were moving Pinot Noir from tank to cask.

I was sorry to disturb them.

I was happy to hear that this year will become a great vintage.

Then I returned to Sapporo and had a gorgeous dinner with Mr. & Mrs. Fujii at ” Nouvelle Pousse Okurayama” in Sapporo Olympic Museum.

The Winter Olympic Games of 1972 was held here.

I saw an amazingly beautiful night view of Sapporo.

Every cuisine was marvelously beautiful and delicious.

Everything was outstanding!

Mr. Fujii selected and brought all of the wines today.

Every wine was so nice.

Especially, I was surprised at the marriage between J. Lohr Pinot Noir and the main dish.

I was completely absorbed by marvelous dishes, fine wines, sophisticated service and pleasant atmosphere.

It was a miracle night.

Thank you so much!

I love Sapporo!
