I organized and facilitated a winemaker’s dinner of Shinshu Takayama Winery at Girandole, which is an excellent French restaurant in Park Hyatt Tokyo.
The guest winemaker is Mr. Eiichi Takano, who used to be my co-worker in Mercian.
His carrier as winemaker is in Mercian Winery for a long time included in Bordeaux for three years.
I received this event request as the facilitator from Park Hyatt Tokyo and coordinate this one.
It was the first fine wine event after the Covid-19 for Park Hyatt Tokyo, all participants, Mr. Takano and me.
We were really excited about having such nice event.

Every wine was so nice.
All of the bottles were very pure, natural and elegant.
Especially, I was sure the Sauvignon Blanc was one of the top wines in Japan.
Also, Merlot-Cabernet was outstanding.
The quality may be as same as the super fine Bordeaux wine, I think.
The French cuisine today was outstanding, too.
Every dish was tremendously delicious!!
We had a unforgettable experience of the pairing between super fine dishes and Takayama Wine.
Finally, Mr. Takano showed us Macerated Sauvignon Blanc 2019, which is the first Orange Wine not yet released.
It was a surprising tasting.
Every guest enjoyed it very much.
We enjoyed very, very much for the winemaker’s dinner tonight.
