I joined in “California Wine Grand Tasting 2020” organized by California Wine Institute at Tokyo Kaikan in Marunouchi.
I had a tasting booth of J. Lohr, which I have been importing since 2005.
It was the first time I had joined such big event after Covid-19.
Also, It was the world first event for California Wine Institute after Covid-19.
All of the participants were the same situation.
I heard, “Long time”, “Long time” and “Long time” here and there.
We paid a huge attention to protect against infection.
Even though the number of the guests was limited, many wine professionals tried win tasting pleasantly and seriously.
I could meet so many wine people today.
I feel the real meeting is far better than the on-line meeting.
I was so happy to participate in such great event.
