Sidewood is a very popular winery in Adelaide Hills Australia.
It is a very fine Chardonnay.
I felt outstandingly pure fruits, beautiful acidity and impressive minerals.
My knowledge of Adelaide Chardonnay is big, fat, milky and concentrated.
This one is totally opposite.
This cool and elegant Chardonnay is just my lovely style.
Delicious!
2nd Sidewood Stablemate Shiraz 2016 2100 yen + tax
My old knowledge of Adelaide Hills Shiraz is big, dark, concentrated, spicy and high alcohol.
What is this?
This Shiraz is totally opposite.
I felt very pure fruits, clean-high acidity, silky tannin and very comfortable mouthfeel.
The style is really cool and elegant.
It is just my favorite style, too.
Today’s bottles taught me a lot!
