No Wine Day
Jan. 5
I went to my favorite “Jindai-ji” Temple and prayed for the peace of this year.
Then I cooked dinner.
Because I had to have New Year’s cooking left, I only cooked two starters.
Kuromutsu Carpaccio
Steamed Mussels
Very good!
1st Lieubeau Sauvignon Blanc 2013 1280 yen New Arrivals
Lieubeau was a traditional family vineyards & winery in Nantes Loire established in 1816.
I said that Lieubeau Pinot Noir was outstanding in my diary on Dec. 22.
Also, this Sauvignon Blanc is outstanding.
All grapes are grown by Terra Vitis method.
I was impressed in this very clean fruits, beautiful citrus and fine minerals.
It is a really fine Sauvignon Blanc.
If you buy a bottle of Sanccere, which is made in Loire from Sauvignon Blanc, you must pay over 2500 yen.
However, you can get this one only 1280 yen.
Why not try to taste this?
2nd Lieubeau Cabernet Franc 2014 1480 yen New Arivals
This Cabernet Franc is outstanding, too!
I can’t trust the quality of the wine made from 100% Cabernet Franc except some of great wine.
However, this Cabernet Franc is fabulous!
I love this elegant-dense fruits, tannin, red & black berries and acidity.
It is a so elegant red wine.
Tasty! Tasty! Tasty!
I deeply want to recommend this for the persons, who have never seen a fine 100% Cabernet Franc.
